Modern entrance area of a private residence in Unzmarkt featuring the full-height Wippro Black Loft Amsterdam BL 621 all-glass door. The black industrial-style grid design harmonises with the black elements of the staircase and creates a striking contrast with the light wall surfaces and natural stone flooring.

Wippro Black Loft BL 621 – full-height loft door in industrial design in Unzmarkt

Clean lines, generous glass surfaces and striking black accents: in this private residence in Unzmarkt, Styria, the Wippro Black Loft Amsterdam BL 621 was used to create a modern, full-height all-glass door in the popular industrial style.

The door was designed as a full-height all-glass element with pivot fitting and double-action function. The side trim in RAL 9005 Jet Black picks up the black linear design of the door and harmoniously connects it with the other dark design elements in the living space.

Industrial style, loft design and steel-glass look

This type of interior design is known under various names: loft door, industrial-style door, industrial-design door, loft glass door, steel-glass door, glass door in steel look, black glass door with glazing bars, or glass partition in an industrial look.

Its defining characteristic is the combination of generous glass surfaces and a geometric black grid design, whose appearance is reminiscent of classic steel-and-glass constructions in old factory and industrial buildings.

It is exactly this contrast that makes the modern loft style so appealing: the black linear structure creates an architectural statement, while the glass ensures transparency and an open spatial feel.

Full-height all-glass door – connecting light and space

The full-height design of the Wippro Black Loft BL 621 enhances the architectural effect even further. Instead of visually separating rooms with a solid interior door, the generous glazing preserves the visual and light connection between spaces.

This makes full-height loft doors and all-glass doors in industrial design particularly attractive for modern living concepts, entrance areas, kitchens, dining rooms, living spaces, home offices or offices.

This project is a particularly beautiful example of how the black grid structure of the glass door interacts with the vertical black elements of the staircase. This creates a consistent and harmonious design concept throughout the space.

Double-action door with pivot fitting

The BL 621 was implemented as a double-action door with pivot fitting. This combines the modern appearance of an all-glass door with a comfortable and practical door solution.

The reduced hardware design reinforces the minimalist character of the entire element. The focus remains clearly on glass, transparency and the characteristic black loft look.

RAL 9005 Jet Black as an architectural accent

The side trim was finished in RAL 9005 Jet Black. Black creates a deliberate contrast with the light wall surfaces and the floor, while at the same time echoing other elements of the interior architecture.

The result is a modern glass-and-steel look that can be combined equally well with minimalist interiors as with wood, natural stone, concrete-look finishes and other natural materials.

Consultation, measurement, service and installation by Tischlerei Hopf from Gaal

The entire project was handled by Tischlerei Hopf from Gaal.

From personal consultation to precise measurement, service and installation, the door solution was tailored to the structural situation and the desired room concept.

Especially in the case of a full-height all-glass door with pivot fitting, precise on-site measurement and careful planning are essential for a convincing end result.

This project therefore combines Wippro’s custom door design with the personal support and implementation of a regional specialist company.
